Frasers Property Thailand Industrial Freehold & Leasehold REIT (FTREIT) is a real estate investment trust (REIT). It was established pursuant to the Transactions in Capital Market Act B.E. 2550 on 12 December, 2014, with registered capital of Baht 3,425 million. FTREIT was listed on the Securities Exchange of Thailand (SET) and the initial date of trading was on 9 January, 2015.
BBL Asset Management Co. Ltd., the Trustee, has appointed Frasers Property Industrial REIT Management (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to act as the REIT Manager. Frasers Property (Thailand) Plc. and Frasers Property Industrial (Thailand) Co., Ltd. are hired as the Property Manager and Thailand Securities Depository Company Limited acts as the Trust Registrar.
As at 31 December, 2019, the properties at fair value was over Baht 39,000 million. FTREIT’s investment portfolio is presently comprised of 578 units of factories and warehouses, representing an area of over 1.76 million sq.m., all of them located in key industrial areas of Thailand, such as Ayutthaya, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakan and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). Acquired complete with tenancies of world-class companies from various industries, including next-generation automobiles, logistics and electronics, these income producing assets have an average occupancy rate more than 80%. Moreover, FTREIT was assigned with an ‘A/Stable’ rating, which is the highest credit rating among all REITs in Thailand.
